For the fourth consecutive year, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas transforms its Boulevard Pool into The Ice Rink, a rooftop winter destination overlooking Las Vegas Boulevard.
Guests can glide across more than 4,200 square feet of real ice, enjoy seasonal snowfall effects, roast s’mores and sample holiday-inspired food and drinks. The Ice Rink opens Nov. 20 with the Ice Out Cancer Over Vegas benefit, supporting the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation and the Las Vegas chapter of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. That kickoff event features professional skating performances and other entertainment; tickets are priced at $30.
Throughout the season the rink offers themed nights and specialty programming. Beginning Dec. 9, DJ Technicolor will lead Wednesday nightlife sessions, turning the space into an elevated party scene. Mondays are reserved for Date Skate, with classic holiday films screened on the resort’s digital marquee, while Throwback Thursdays recreate a skate-party vibe with hits from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.
Food and beverage options are crafted for the season. The Campfire Delight signature cocktail combines vodka, crème de cacao, RumChata and toasted marshmallow flavors. Menu highlights include warm chili served in bread bowls and fireside s’mores, alongside a curated selection of cocktails and seasonal small plates.
The Ice Rink runs from Nov. 20 through Jan. 3 and is open seven days a week. Admission to the rink area is complimentary; skate rentals and all-day skating access are available for $15. Visitors should check daily schedules for themed nights and performance times.
