Prepare your pup’s suitcase: The Pierre, A Taj Hotel on Fifth Avenue welcomes canine companions during stays in Manhattan. For a flat fee of $220 per dog (up to 15 pounds), guests can add the Pierre Pampered Pups Experience to their room reservation and enjoy a curated set of amenities designed for comfort and convenience.
The package includes a BarkBox-style welcome amenity filled with treats and toys, a plush dog bed, and a Pierre-branded bowl refilled daily with Fiji water. Guests also receive a refillable Pierre water bottle, a dog-friendly walking map of Central Park, and a Pet in Residence door tag so hotel staff know a pet is on the premises. The experience features one VIP pampering session at celebrity groomer Edward Alava’s The DOG Store.
In addition, Fido may choose two pet meals per day from the Pierre In-Room Pet Menu. Menu options are crafted with wholesome ingredients and include:
- Cody’s Chicken: boneless chicken with organic brown rice and baby carrots
- Max’s Angus Beef Patty: pan-seared ground beef blend served with basmati rice, corn and peas
- Lassie’s Atlantic Salmon: fresh salmon fillet with haricots verts and aromatic rice
- Bruno’s Special Protein Recipe: bison, beef and beef liver combined with a fruit-vegetable mix
- Snoopy’s Delight: lamb, ocean whitefish and lamb liver with berries and pomegranate
- Lucky’s Sweet Treat: a homemade surprise treat prepared by the hotel’s pastry chef
The Pierre’s pet program aims to make both guests and their dogs feel at home, offering thoughtful amenities and services that let travelers enjoy Manhattan without leaving their furry companions behind.
