Aeroméxico Deepens Commitment to the European Market

Less than a year after adding the Boeing 787 Dreamliner to its fleet, Aeromexico has announced it will deploy the aircraft across all three of its European routes: Madrid (MAD), London (LHR) and Paris (CDG). Since October 2013, Aeromexico has operated seven weekly overnight flights between Mexico City (MEX) and Paris using the Dreamliner. Starting in May, the airline will add Dreamliner service on its London route and will introduce three new weekly overnight flights to Madrid.

The Dreamliner in Aeromexico’s fleet is configured with 243 seats, including 32 lie-flat seats in first class. With the new Madrid frequencies, Aeromexico will offer a total of 10 weekly flights between Mexico City and Madrid: three operated with Boeing 777 aircraft and three with Dreamliner jets, supplemented by the remaining frequencies to reach the weekly total. Together, these services will provide approximately 5,400 seats between the two capitals.

The overnight scheduling of these flights is designed to maximize connections. Passengers arriving in Mexico City can connect to more than 40 domestic destinations, while those connecting onward can reach 17 destinations in the United States, 12 in Latin America and one in Canada.
