Priority Pass has published new growth figures showing the airport lounge network has surpassed 1,200 locations worldwide. Over the past year the membership programme added 141 new lounges, plus 34 dining, spa and relaxation venues, reflecting an expansion beyond traditional lounge services to offer a wider range of airport experiences.
Regional additions include 64 new lounges in the Asia-Pacific market, featuring the company’s first lounges at Adelaide (ADL) and Melbourne (MEL) airports. In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, 48 new facilities joined the network, including two locations at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport.
In North America, Priority Pass opened 27 new lounges, among them the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in Terminal 2 at Los Angeles International Airport.
Christopher Evans, joint CEO of Collinson, which operates Priority Pass, commented: “In the last year we’ve added some exciting choices to the Priority Pass portfolio, increasing the global footprint of the programme to more than 1,200 experiences around the world. New and exclusive partnerships with lounge, dining and spa providers demonstrate our commitment to providing our members with more options that cater for their individual needs at airports while also broadening our airport coverage. As the needs of travellers continue to evolve, we’re constantly striving to further improve and develop the Priority Pass offering, providing our members with access to the very best possible experiences each time they travel.”
The latest expansion underscores Priority Pass’s strategy to diversify airport amenities and create a flexible experience for travellers. By adding spas, dining options and relaxation areas alongside conventional lounges, the programme aims to serve a broader range of passenger preferences — from quick dining and rest to full-service lounge amenities. This variety can be especially valuable for frequent flyers, families, and leisure travellers who appreciate options tailored to different trip lengths, schedules and budgets.
As international travel recovers and passenger expectations shift, airport service providers increasingly focus on partnerships that enhance convenience and comfort. Priority Pass’s continued rollout of new locations across multiple regions signals ongoing investment in both geographic reach and the types of services offered. For members, the result is a larger, more diverse network that seeks to make time spent at airports more productive and enjoyable.
With over 1,200 venues now available, Priority Pass members can expect greater choice at major hubs and many regional airports. The combination of traditional lounges and alternative airport experiences aims to meet contemporary travel needs by providing more ways to relax, work and dine before flights, contributing to a smoother journey from check-in to boarding.
