Frankfurt Launches Faster, More Comfortable Airport Gate Service

Passengers at Germany’s largest aviation hub, Frankfurt Airport, can now enjoy increased comfort and convenience with Fraport’s new Check-In To Gate Service. A trained service assistant meets passengers at a pre-arranged meeting point in the terminal, handles their baggage and check-in on their behalf, and then escorts them through a dedicated security lane and, when required, passport control.

The service is priced at about $94 for up to four people traveling together on the same flight, independent of airline or booking class. Reservations should be made through FRA’s service portal at least 48 hours before departure; however, shorter-notice bookings may be possible on request.

Check-In To Gate is part of Fraport AG’s “Great to have you here!” service quality program, which aims to improve the passenger experience at Frankfurt Airport. The program also includes other customer-focused features, such as the Frankfurt Airport App 2.0 and complimentary 24-hour WiFi throughout the passenger terminals.
