ANA Introduces Upgraded In-Flight Entertainment System

ANA is launching an upgraded in-flight entertainment system that offers a total of 351 channels, featuring an extensive mix of international movies, overseas television series, music, sports and children’s content. This expansion represents a 40 percent increase in available programming compared with March 2014.

The refreshed system places a strong emphasis on language accessibility. Programs will be provided in 13 languages, and about 70 percent of the content will be available in multiple languages. With these enhancements, ANA will offer more channels and a wider variety of languages than any other Japanese carrier.

Most international ANA flights are equipped with personal monitors at every seat, enabling passengers to enjoy on-demand content whenever they wish. Starting in February, the in-flight entertainment guide—ANA Sky Channel—will include a language-based program listing so travelers can easily find shows in their preferred language.

The new lineup is organized across several categories: 52 movie channels, 142 video channels featuring original ANA productions, popular TV series, sports, music and children’s programming, 148 audio channels, and nine gaming channels. The full range of programming will be available in Japanese, English, French, German, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Thai, Tagalog and Hindi.

These improvements aim to enhance the passenger experience by offering greater choice, improved language options and more flexible on-demand viewing across ANA’s international network.
