Dubai International Airport has opened a new Sleep ‘n Fly Lounge in Terminal 3, introducing 27 modern sleep units designed for weary travelers.
The facility includes 20 Igloo sleep pods and seven Yawn cabins with double beds. The Yawn cabins can also serve as private workspaces for passengers who need a quiet place to focus or rest.
“After operating dedicated airport sleep lounges for several years, we have taken our unique concept to a new level at Dubai International,” said Geoffrey Carrier, general manager of Onground Hospitality, the pod provider. “We are excited to be part of the amazing Dubai Airport experience, and look forward to offering some much-needed rest to the ever-growing number of passengers passing through the airport.”
Located near Gate A1 in Concourse A, the Sleep ‘n Fly Lounge offers flexible booking: pods are available for as little as a one-hour nap or for longer overnight stays. Passengers can reserve online via the Sleep ‘n Fly website or book after arriving at the airport. When you check in at reception, a staff member escorts you to your pod and will return at the agreed time to wake you with a hot or cold towel.
The lounge provides a range of practical amenities to make short stays comfortable and convenient. Services include shaving kits, shoe-shine, showers, restrooms and nearby dining options. Yawn cabins are air-conditioned and soundproof, providing a restful environment for sleep or focused work.
Pricing is tiered to suit different needs: daytime use of an Igloo pod starts at $17 for one hour, while a longer stay in a Yawn cabin — for example a 12-hour booking — can cost up to $271. These options give travelers flexibility whether they need a quick recharge between flights or a longer rest on a long layover.
While Concourse A primarily serves Emirates and Qantas flights, the Sleep ‘n Fly Lounge is open to all airline passengers transiting through Dubai International Airport, offering a private, secure place to rest regardless of carrier.
