Set on Washington’s scenic San Juan Island, Lakedale Resort at Three Lakes has announced its Gourmet Glamping lineup for this summer. The series offers two nights of elevated campfire cookouts led by acclaimed Pacific Northwest chefs, combining hands-on cooking with luxurious camping accommodations.
This season’s chefs include Seattle’s Brian Clevenger of Vendemmia and Ericka Burke of Volunteer Park Café and Chop Shop. The resort has also expanded its “glampground” with six new canvas cottages available from May through September, increasing options for guests who want an upscale outdoor stay.
The Gourmet Glamping events take place on June 11 and July 16. Each evening features deluxe camping in fully furnished canvas cabins and cottages equipped with pillow-top beds, turn-down service and high-end linens. Guests will participate in a hands-on cooking session led by the visiting chef, then sit down to a thoughtfully prepared multi-course meal paired with regional wines.
On Saturday, June 11, Brian Clevenger will prepare a multi-course dinner paired with wines from Desert Wind Winery and Duck Pond Cellars. On July 16, Ericka Burke will present a curated menu paired with selections from Cougar Crest Winery.
Tickets cover the hands-on cooking experience, the multi-course meal and wine pairings. Tickets are priced at $75 per person. Participants must be at least 21 years old; ticket cost is in addition to the accommodation rate for the canvas cabins or cottages.
