Tell our readers about EVA’s service in North America.
EVA Air serves North America with reliable, competitively priced service and modern aircraft. From five gateways—Vancouver, Newark, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles—we operate frequent flights that link to our Taipei hub, offering convenient one-stop connections across Asia, including 14 gateways in China. Our schedules are designed to minimize travel time while maximizing connection options to cities throughout the region.
With an extensive network from North America to Asia, EVA Air offers more direct connections and transfer options through Taipei than many other carriers, making it a strong choice for travelers seeking broad Asian access from the continent.
We operate spacious Boeing 777 and 747 aircraft on U.S. and Canadian routes, balancing passenger comfort with competitive fares. To meet growing demand, we expanded our business-class product, Premium Laurel, to provide 42 seats on select 777s and 36 seats on 747s, delivering a premium experience while maintaining value. Our fleet modernization continues with additions of new 777s to improve capacity and onboard amenities.
EVA Air has an award-winning premium-economy class. Tell our readers about this product.
Recognizing a gap between economy and business travel, EVA Air introduced a premium-economy cabin in 1992—pioneering a distinct class focused on enhanced comfort and service. Marketed as Elite Class on our 777s and 747s, this cabin offers greater seat pitch and recline than standard economy, upgraded meal options and personal seatback entertainment systems. Elite Class was developed to meet the needs of travelers who want more space and amenities without the price of business class.
Independent reviews and passenger surveys have consistently recognized Elite Class. Global Traveler readers named EVA Air the Best Airline for Premium Economy in consecutive GT Tested surveys, and Skytrax ranked Elite Class among the top premium-economy products worldwide. Given its balance of comfort and affordability, Elite Class remains an appealing choice for leisure and business travelers alike.
