Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced plans to open a new luxury hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. Slated to debut in 2016, Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul will be situated in Beşiktaş, one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods, close to the financial district and numerous historic landmarks. The property will offer around 130 guest rooms and suites, many with outdoor terraces and waterside views. Dining options will include waterfront restaurants, and guests will have access to a fully equipped fitness center and an indoor pool. The hotel will also house The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, which will provide a range of beauty and wellness treatments as well as a tea lounge for relaxation.
