Air Canada Expands Montréal to San Francisco Flights

Air Canada has announced that its Montréal (YUL) to San Francisco (SFO) route will move from a seasonal offering to year-round service starting in November. The route is operated with Airbus A319 aircraft, configured with 14 business class seats and 106 economy seats.

Departures from Montréal are scheduled at 5:35 p.m., arriving in San Francisco at 9:00 p.m. The return service departs San Francisco at 8:10 a.m. and arrives in Montréal at 4:29 p.m. This updated schedule responds to steady demand from both business and leisure travelers.

“Demand for year-round Air Canada flights between Montréal and San Francisco has been strong from business and leisure travelers and we look forward to being able to maintain a year-round schedule with the support of Montréal’s business and tourism communities,” said Marcel Forget, vice president of network planning for Air Canada. He added that extending San Francisco service year-round, together with the airline’s daily Los Angeles flights, strengthens Air Canada’s role as the only carrier providing non-stop service between Montréal and California, offering up to five non-stop flights per day.

This change aims to provide greater travel flexibility for passengers and to support business links and tourism between Québec and California. Travelers can expect consistent connectivity throughout the year without the previous seasonal interruptions.
