Dubai-based Emirates has launched a luxury private jet service called Emirates Executive. The new private charter operation uses Airbus A319 aircraft configured to carry up to 19 passengers and extends Emirates’ offering beyond its scheduled network, serving destinations worldwide.
The A319 used for Emirates Executive is arranged into two distinct zones to provide both social and private spaces. The forward zone serves as a dining and executive lounge, featuring two large sofas and four tables arranged for meetings, dining or casual conversation. The aft zone contains 10 private suites equipped with lie-flat seats, designed to offer a restful, private environment for longer flights.
Emirates positions the product as an extension of the airline’s long-established standards for service and comfort, tailored to the demands of private travel. “Emirates Executive elevates the high standards and quality of Emirates that our customers have come to expect, with the flexibility and luxury that can only be offered by a private chartered flight,” said Adnan Kazim, divisional senior vice president of planning, aeropolitical and industry affairs for Emirates. He added that demand for private travel has been rising, particularly in the Middle East and Europe, as well as in markets such as India, Russia and China.
The launch of Emirates Executive and its dedicated website is intended to capture growth in this niche market by combining the convenience and discretion of private aviation with the service levels associated with the Emirates brand. The offering is aimed at a range of customers, from executives and VIPs seeking privacy and efficiency to groups that value onboard space, personalized service and flexible routing.
Beyond the cabin layout and service focus, private charters typically provide tailored scheduling, bespoke catering and dedicated ground handling that streamline the overall travel experience. Emirates Executive is designed to integrate these elements with Emirates’ operational experience and global reach, enabling point-to-point travel that bypasses some of the constraints of scheduled services.
By using the A319 platform, Emirates Executive balances long-range capability with a cabin size suited to small groups, offering a blend of comfort and practicality. The mix of communal lounge space and individual suites supports a variety of trip types—from in-flight meetings and social gatherings to restful, private overnight travel.
The introduction of Emirates Executive reflects broader trends in aviation where premium and private travel segments are expanding. Operators and passengers increasingly seek flexible options that emphasize health, privacy, and time savings, and legacy carriers are adapting by adding bespoke private charter services alongside their core scheduled networks.
