Air Tahiti Nui Unveils New Luxury Cabin Interiors

Air Tahiti Nui has completed a two-year, $17 million cabin renewal program, transitioning from a three-cabin layout to a streamlined two-cabin configuration. The refreshed cabins — business and economy — entered service in April and are currently deployed on the carrier’s Los Angeles and Paris routes.

The cabin design draws inspiration from the colors and spirit of the Tahitian Islands, incorporating turquoise and ocean blue accents alongside mother-of-pearl tones, crisp white and warm grays. The upgraded Poerava business class now features 32 Evolys seats. These shell-style seats provide enhanced privacy and comfort with an angled lie-flat position that reclines to 160 degrees. Each seat is equipped with power outlets and comes with comforters, pillows and amenity kits.

The aircraft also introduce a modern in-flight entertainment system with a capacitive touch-screen interface and HD resolution. The 12-inch screens are slim, lightweight and energy-efficient, designed for straightforward operation. The entertainment selection includes approximately 14 movies per flight, 24 television programs, popular music playlists, 15 games, a duty-free catalogue, a Tahiti information guide and in-flight menus.

This cabin refresh aims to combine island-inspired aesthetics with practical upgrades to comfort and technology, enhancing the passenger experience on long-haul services between Tahiti and key international gateways.
