Carlton Tel Aviv is a privately owned five-star hotel positioned where the city meets the sea, on Tel Aviv’s renowned beachfront overlooking the Mediterranean. The hotel is just minutes from the city’s main business, shopping, cultural and entertainment districts, making it convenient for both leisure and business visitors.
Designed in the Brutalist style by Israeli architect Yaakov Rechter and opened in 1981, the property recently underwent renovations while preserving its architectural character. The hotel offers 257 rooms and 12 suites and continues to attract returning guests despite newer developments along the three-mile beachfront stretching from the Old Tel Aviv Port in the north to Jaffa’s Clock Tower in the south.

The hotel also serves Shabbat dinner on Friday evenings and lunch on Saturday at noon.

Custom lighting fixtures created by Studio Yaron Tal enhance the Lumina restaurant and ballroom while preserving natural daylight from the glass walls. Tal designed three circular fixtures with unique internal patterns to offer a range of lighting schemes tailored to each space, enriching the ambiance without obstructing views or natural light.
