Beginning Oct. 30, Virgin Atlantic introduces changes to its Flying Club that give members more flexibility and value. Every seat on Virgin Atlantic-operated flights will be available for purchase with Virgin Points, including upgrade seats, making it easier for members to redeem rewards across all cabins.

Alongside this broadening of redemptions, the airline is increasing points earn rates in Premium and Upper Class and introducing new Saver reward seats. Saver fares arrive at their lowest possible pricing, delivering stronger value for Flying Club members. These reduced starting prices include short-haul routes to London from as little as 6,000 Virgin Points, providing affordable options for more travelers.
New vouchers will remain part of the program and will be redeemable for a Companion Seat or an upgrade on any seat in any cabin for any customer. Voucher redemptions will be capped based on membership status at the time of use: up to 75,000 points for Flying Club Red members and up to 150,000 points for Flying Club Silver or Gold members.

Members will also see higher points accrual on paid tickets: Virgin Points earned on Upper Class fares will rise by up to 50 percent, while Premium fare earn rates will increase by up to 75 percent. These enhancements let customers accumulate points faster on paid travel, complementing the expanded redemption options.
Until the new program changes take effect, customers can continue to book reward seats with existing pricing and availability. These updates are part of Virgin Atlantic’s ongoing efforts to improve the Flying Club experience, alongside investments such as the upcoming LAX Clubhouse and continued collaboration with Virgin Red.
