Businesses from across the United States will gather in Park City this spring for the city’s inaugural Thin Air Innovation Festival.
Running April 6–8, the new festival centers on “Innovation in Peak Human Performance” and brings together an eclectic mix of speakers, panelists and networking events. Attendees can expect thought-provoking conversations, opportunities to connect with peers, and an outdoor concert finale by Thievery Corporation at the base of Park City’s Historic Main Street.
Corporate groups can use the occasion to host meetings or retreats while participating in festival programming. Highlights of the schedule include a keynote address by Kevin Plank, CEO and founder of Under Armour, morning sessions with moderated panels featuring local business leaders and subject-matter experts, and a dedicated lounge designed for networking and informal collaboration.
“The Thin Air Innovation Festival aims to close the ski season on a high note,” said Bill Malone, president and CEO of the Park City Chamber of Commerce/Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Park City is uniquely suited to host this event: a distinct mountain town with two world-class resorts, a growing tech-savvy community and a deep connection to innovators from many fields. For all these reasons, a three-day festival like this is a natural fit for Park City, Utah.”
Located just 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, Park City is one of North America’s most accessible mountain recreation destinations. The resort town offers more than 100 lodging properties, nearly 150 bars and restaurants, and a wide variety of shops along Historic Main Street and near the Utah Olympic Park.
