Explore Italy’s Wine and Olive Oil Regions with Delta Vacations

Delta Vacations is expanding its Italy offerings with new wine and olive oil tasting experiences and an updated selection of first-class and deluxe hotels now available for booking.

Operating near Florence and Rome, the new tasting tours include visits to at least two wineries, private car service for groups of up to six, English-speaking guides, and lunch at carefully selected local restaurants.

The Chianti Classico Wine Tasting tour leads travelers through the picturesque towns of Greve and Badia a Passignano. Guests enjoy a full-day excursion that includes a close look at the production and aging processes behind Chianti wines, guided tastings, and lunch at Ristorante La Scuderia.

The full-day Olive Oil and Wine Tasting Tour of the Frascati Hills features stops at Azienda Agricola Casale Marchese and Tenuta Colle Picchioni wineries, olive oil samplings, a guided visit to the historic town of Frascati, and lunch at Osteria Zaraza. These curated experiences highlight regional flavors and local production techniques.

In addition to the new tours, Delta Vacations has added several notable hotels across Italy’s most popular destinations. New properties available for booking include Hotel Lungarno in Florence, Hotel Delle Nazioni and Ludovisi Palace in Rome, Hotel Monaco and Grand Canal in Venice, and Hotel La Palma Capri. These hotels were chosen for their location, service, and appeal to travelers seeking upscale accommodations.

Delta Air Lines and joint venture partner Alitalia Airlines provide seven nonstop U.S. gateways to Italy. Flights can be combined with hotel stays and curated tours when booked through Delta Vacations or Alitalia Vacations, simplifying travel planning and creating seamless itineraries.
