All singles—women and men—take note. A survey by MissTravel.com asked American participants which nationalities they consider most attractive, revealing clear favorites.
Among 13,259 American men surveyed, Colombian women were ranked the most attractive, followed by Brazilian, American, Spanish, and Russian women. These choices reflect the personal preferences of the men who responded and highlight a strong preference for South American and European nationalities alongside domestic appeal.
On the other side, 30,741 American women named British men as the most attractive, with Irish, Brazilian, Swedish, and American men rounding out the top five. This result shows a mix of European charm and international appeal driving perceptions of male attractiveness among the women surveyed.
The poll also explored which characteristics matter most when dating someone from another country. Among men, 34 percent rated body type as the most important factor in attractiveness. Women placed the most value on accent, with 47 percent citing it as the top quality. Other frequently mentioned traits included cultural background, personal style, and overall physical appearance.
These findings illustrate how attraction is influenced by a combination of physical features and cultural characteristics. While preferences vary widely between individuals, the survey highlights distinct trends among American men and women when it comes to perceived international attractiveness.
