Shangri-La Culinary Adventures: Savor October’s Seasonal Flavors

Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts invites food lovers to a month-long culinary celebration this October: the Taste of Shangri-La. This global dining event will be presented across 14 properties spanning the Middle East, Europe, the United Kingdom, India, the Indian Ocean and the Americas, each showcasing signature menus and exclusive dishes crafted by their resident chefs.

The Taste of Shangri-La program highlights 28 celebrated restaurants across participating hotels, offering curated multicourse menus, signature dishes and regional specialties. Participating properties this year include Shangri-La Dubai, Shangri-La Bosphorus, Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Shangri-La Paris, Shangri-La Jeddah, Shangri-La New Delhi, Shangri-La The Shard (London), Shangri-La Bangalore, Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah, Shangri-La Al Husn, Shangri-La Toronto, Shangri-La Le Touessrok, Shangri-La Colombo and Shangri-La Hambantota. Each venue brings its own interpretation of local and international flavors, creating a diverse program for diners to explore.

  • At Shangri-La Dubai, Shang Palace presents a four-course menu celebrating classic Cantonese cuisine, while Hoi An offers a five-course tasting of traditional Vietnamese specialties, highlighting authentic flavors and refined techniques.
  • Shangri-La The Shard, London, serves a specially curated British-Asian fusion menu at TĪNG Asian Eatery. The offering includes a balanced selection of small and large plates, complementary side dishes and a crafted dessert, all inspired by contemporary Anglo-Asian cuisine.
  • IST TOO at Shangri-La Bosphorus introduces Mediterranean plates inspired by Anatolia’s rich harvest, focusing on seasonal produce and regional ingredients to deliver bright, vibrant flavors.
  • At Shangri-La Toronto, bosk presents two- and three-course menus emphasizing Northern Italian traditions, with optional wine pairings featuring Canadian and Italian selections to enhance each course.
