To give travelers greater choice over the holiday period, Qantas is increasing capacity on its Dallas/Fort Worth route.
From December 8 through January 19, 2016, the airline will upgrade the Sydney–Dallas/Fort Worth connection from six weekly services to daily flights. The route is operated using Qantas’ Airbus A380 aircraft, providing more seat availability and schedule flexibility during the peak travel season.
Qantas has also expanded its seasonal offerings between Australia and Canada. During June and July, the carrier will operate 13 return services between Sydney and Vancouver International Airport. It will further increase service to 20 return flights from mid-December through late January 2016. These Canada services are planned to use three-cabin, 364-seat refurbished Boeing 747 aircraft, giving passengers a range of cabin options and enhanced onboard comfort.
These temporary frequency increases reflect Qantas’ strategy to match capacity with elevated demand around holidays and school breaks, helping ensure passengers have more convenient departure dates and a wider choice of seats and classes when booking transpacific travel.
