Four Seasons Atlanta Reopens After Major Renovation Reveal

In time for Super Bowl LIII, Atlanta’s only AAA Five-Diamond and Forbes Five-Star hotel, Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, completed a comprehensive renovation of its guestrooms, suites, spa, fitness center and event space.

While some upgrades began in 2015, the recent project extends improvements across all 244 guestrooms, including 18 suites and five newly added terrace suites. The redesign emphasizes a contemporary vision of urban hotel living that balances comfort and refinement.

“The new guest room design for Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta epitomizes a fresh take on urban hotel living,” said Gray Davis, principal of Meyer Davis, the New York–based interior design firm behind the refresh. “Soft patterned carpeting, aged brass fixtures and velvet accents work together to create a light, comfortable atmosphere.”

Local art plays a central role in the property’s renewed character. Canvas Art Consultants of Atlanta curated new artwork throughout the hotel, commissioning local artists to tell the city’s story through original pieces displayed in guest rooms and public spaces.

Spa, pool and fitness amenities were also upgraded to enhance guest wellbeing. Renovations include custom lockers, upgraded steam rooms and saunas, new lounge chairs and sectionals at the pool, and modernized fitness equipment to support a full range of workouts.

Meeting and event spaces were updated to mirror the new guestroom aesthetic, delivering a cohesive design throughout the hotel. On the fifth-floor terrace, a louvered pergola adds architectural detail and creates an elegant outdoor gathering area, improving both form and function for events and leisure.

Taken together, the renovations strengthen the hotel’s commitment to luxury and local identity, offering guests refreshed accommodations and enhanced amenities while preserving the service standards expected at a top-tier property in downtown Atlanta.
