On June 3, The Drisco Hotel opened its doors in Tel Aviv, adding a refined boutique option to the city’s hospitality scene. Situated in the historic American Colony neighborhood, the hotel blends classic Ottoman-inspired decor with contemporary touches and modern amenities, appealing to travelers who appreciate style and character.
The building dates back to 1866 and houses 42 rooms: 37 traditional guestrooms and five suites. The interior design incorporates Ottoman influences, including restored murals and period accents that reflect the neighborhood’s eclectic past. Guest bathrooms feature Carrara marble, ceramic tile, and distinctive sinks and mirrors, while many rooms offer private balconies with views of Tel Aviv to the north or the Mediterranean Sea to the west.
Dining at The Drisco serves both hotel guests and local diners. Zada presents elevated Ottoman-inspired cuisine that emphasizes local, sustainable ingredients. A separate lobby bar offers small shared plates such as beef tartare; scallops dressed with mint, chili and pomegranate reduction; and crisp mini lettuce with mint croutons and a white lime vinaigrette. Room rates start at $264 per night.
