Hilton Hotel to Open at Dubai World Central: Grand Debut 2026

Hilton Hotels & Resorts is preparing to open a new upscale property at Dubai World Central, introducing a 535-guestroom hotel in the heart of DWC. Scheduled to open in early 2019, the hotel will be situated at Al Maktoum International Airport as the airport expands its role as a major aviation hub in the Middle East.

“With Hilton Worldwide’s multi-brand strategy in Dubai and a 50-year history of hospitality in the region, we are pleased to expand our presence with the flagship Hilton brand at DWC,” said Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Middle East and Africa, Hilton Worldwide. “Across the Middle East and Africa, Hilton Worldwide expects to open an average of one hotel per month over the coming years and plans significant growth in Dubai.”

Hilton Dubai World Central will offer convenient access to the main passenger terminal and will be located near the Dubai Expo 2020 site, supporting Dubai’s tourism goal of attracting 20 million visitors annually.

The seven-story property will deliver a variety of dining options and leisure amenities, including a spa and wellness center, a fitness center and two swimming pools. Business and events facilities will include a large multifunctional ballroom, eight meeting rooms and six boardrooms, providing ample space for meetings, conferences and social events.

Designed to serve both leisure and business travelers, the hotel aims to combine Hilton’s signature service standards with easy access to DWC’s growing aviation connections and the surrounding commercial and exhibition districts. With its strategic location and comprehensive facilities, Hilton Dubai World Central is positioned to meet the needs of regional and international guests seeking modern comfort and convenience.

As Hilton Worldwide continues to expand across the region, this DWC property represents part of a broader effort to increase capacity and brand presence in Dubai, aligning with long-term development plans for the airport and the city’s evolving role as a global destination.
