Brown Hotels Opens Three New Red Sea Properties in Eilat

International hotel group Brown Hotels has opened three new properties in the southern Israeli city of Eilat: Brown Eilat, Brown Lighthouse Eilat and Brown Red Sea. These openings mark Brown Hotels’ first properties outside Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, bringing the brand’s energetic, contemporary style to Eilat’s coastline.

Brown Eilat sits along the Peace Lagoon near the northern beach, while Brown Lighthouse Eilat and Brown Red Sea occupy central locations close to the city’s dining, nightlife and shopping. Eilat’s year-round sunshine, mild winters and improved international access since the 2019 opening of Ramon International Airport have increased the city’s appeal to visitors, prompting new hospitality investment to meet growing demand.

Brown Hotels opened three properties to serve a variety of travelers. Brown Eilat is an intimate, 84-room boutique hotel with a retro-inspired aesthetic that channels the spirit of Miami’s 1930s South Beach and Copacabana-style design. The hotel focuses on adult guests and features five room types—Urban, Terrace, Classic, Studio and Junior Suite—some of which include private balconies, terraces or Jacuzzi tubs. Standard in-room amenities include waterfall showers, luxury bathrobes and Egyptian cotton linens. On-site facilities include a cocktail bar, swimming pool and a boutique offering locally sourced vintage items. Dining at Brown Eilat includes CENA, the brand’s Italian-concept restaurant from Tel Aviv, serving Italian and Mediterranean dishes with views toward the Red Sea.

Brown Lighthouse Eilat, a 152-room resort, brings Brown Hotels’ urban Tel Aviv design language to the Red Sea shore. Positioned within walking distance of beaches, restaurants and the marina, it caters to families and couples alike. The resort offers a main swimming pool, an adults-only premium sun terrace with views of the Edom Mountains, and suites with terraces and private Jacuzzi tubs that overlook the coastline. Guests can enjoy the signature Mediterranean breakfast buffet and a kids’ complex with activities such as Gymboree sessions and movie screenings. Room categories include Classic rooms, Balcony Terrace rooms, penthouse suites and multiple family suites that accommodate parents and up to five children. All guest rooms feature bathtubs or waterfall showers, Molton Brown bath products, Egyptian cotton linens and plush bathrobes, with many rooms offering generous balconies or terraces with Jacuzzis and sea views.

Brown Red Sea, a 154-room property inspired by the surrounding desert landscape, maintains the boutique character of the brand while offering modern resort comforts. The lobby showcases natural hues and contemporary furnishings, and the outdoor pool area is lined with sun loungers. Dining is available at the property’s poolside resto-bar, which serves Mediterranean dishes and signature cocktails. Additional amenities include a spa with a range of restorative treatments and a fully equipped gym. Room options span Standard, Superior, Terrace and Garden rooms, plus enlarged Tulip suites. Terrace rooms feature sunny balconies; Garden rooms have private park-facing outdoor space; and Tulip suites include separate bedroom and living areas, balconies with views of the park or pool, double beds, ample storage, large bathrooms and kitchenettes—designed for longer stays and families.

All three hotels benefit from Eilat’s VAT-free status, and together they expand Brown Hotels’ presence in southern Israel, offering diverse accommodation choices—from boutique, adult-oriented stays to family-friendly resorts—while highlighting local surroundings and delivering the brand’s signature blend of style, service and Mediterranean-influenced dining.
