Watch Top Shows on the Ritz-Carlton In-Room Streaming Guide

Last year, Marriott Hotels announced a partnership with Netflix that lets guests stream their favorite shows and movies directly to their rooms. That offering has now been expanded to Marriott’s luxury properties, beginning with The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey. Starting as early as this month, guests at the Marina del Rey property will be able to sign into their Netflix and Hulu accounts once during their stay and enjoy streaming on the in-room entertainment system. The platform will automatically sign guests out and remove their account information at check-out, protecting privacy and convenience.

“We are excited to be adding this entertainment component as part of our guest room renovation that will allow visitors to enjoy their favorite shows in their home away from home,” said Tony Mira, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey.

This expansion aligns with a broader effort by Marriott to enhance the in-room experience through familiar, user-friendly streaming services. By integrating popular subscription platforms like Netflix and Hulu into guestrooms, the hotel aims to provide a seamless entertainment option that mirrors what guests use at home. The single sign-in per stay and automatic sign-out on departure are designed to make streaming easy and secure for both leisure and business travelers.

Guests can expect the same high standards of service and privacy that accompany other Ritz-Carlton amenities. The property’s renovation includes upgrades to in-room technology so streaming is straightforward: connect to the hotel’s Wi-Fi, use the in-room television interface to access the streaming apps, sign in to a personal account once, and enjoy content throughout the stay. At check-out, the system clears login credentials so no personal data remains on the device.

For travelers who prefer to keep their viewing separate from in-room systems, the hotel continues to support casting options and device-friendly connections. Still, for many guests—especially those who already subscribe to Netflix or Hulu—the built-in streaming capability removes the hassle of packing extra devices or relying on mobile streaming that can consume cellular data.

The extension of streaming services to The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey signals Marriott’s intent to roll similar features out across additional luxury locations over time. As hotels modernize, integrating familiar digital services becomes an increasingly important part of guest expectations, enabling a more personalized and comfortable stay.
