AS A TRAVELER
Tell us about a travel nightmare: I was stranded in France for two weeks after testing positive for COVID, which disrupted plans and highlighted how quickly travel can change.
Share a comical travel experience: A trip to Italy with my mother in 2015 was full of laughs — several people mistakenly assumed she was my girlfriend, which caused amusing moments throughout the journey.
What is your preferred method of travel — planes, trains, automobiles, cruise ships — and why?
Planes. I enjoy airports and the energy of travelers coming and going; there’s something inspiring about the constant movement and possibility.
What has been the best example of customer service you’ve experienced during your travels?
Marrakech, Morocco, stands out for exceptional hospitality. The staff were warm, attentive and helpful without ever being intrusive, creating a genuinely welcoming experience.
